Prospective students who are interested in the BA Theatre Studies program are strongly encouraged to attend an information session in addition to submission of a university application. These sessions will provide specific details about program curriculum and will offer guidelines as to the career potential of a Theatre Studies degree.
Break-out information sessions will occur as part of larger campus-wide events on the following dates:
Theatre Days: October 29, 2021 and April 29, 2022
Theatre Day introduces college-bound students to Montclair State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance. The event features participatory workshops such as Acting, Musical Theatre, Stage Combat, and Technical Theatre Production, conducted by the University’s theatre faculty. Students hear a College of the Arts overview; learn about careers and auditioning; and see a production of our students’ work.
